Logo for a new bike shop for lifelong cyclist, racer, and bike mechanic with over 25 years of experience in the bicycle industry, Charlie brings a wealth of technical expertise and competitive insight, he was also is an artist in a former life.

Initial concept was developed by Charlie and Lilly Beal.

Logo/Identity for Tariffville Mountain Bike Extravaganza. Designed for avid cyclist Brendan Mahoney, for this free annual community event, for the “mountain bike capitol of Connecticut”.

Illustrations of friends bikes / friend’s bikes, it all depends on how many they have.

Drawings of places I have crashed or will probably crash at. It’s really only a matter of time.

Biophilic feature wall for Hartford Healthcare’s renovation of the Hitchcock Wing at Jefferson House. The feature wall was designed to accommodate sight and sound access to an existing semi-private nurses’ station. The project was completed for Amenta Emma Architects.

Personal project turned professional project. Contour line drawings of my coworkers.

Illustration project was awarded Excellence from the Connecticut Art Directors Club (CADC)

Experimental watercolor and ink prints mounted on plywood.

Heaven Skatepark in Hartford has legal graffiti walls, that are frequently repainted. This series of drawings documented the color pallet on my lunch breaks.

The objective of this project was to design and complete a chalk wall drawing to showcase in the Model Unit. The Model Unit was created to attract potential residents for the building, as well as be show to the public. The Model Unit was professionally photographed to be a portfolio piece for Amenta Emma Architects.

The Burnham Family Memory Care Residence at Avery Heights is a secure 20 unit assisted living neighborhood for seniors suffering from dementia. The environmental graphics were created as a primary biophilic design element for the space as well as a privacy screens for the Nurse Office/Family Meeting room and the snoezelen/relaxation room used by staff and residents.
